  1. I agree. Storyist is a breath of fresh air. I'd like to also add three more requests in addition to the above. 1) TAB after DIALOGUE doesn't take me to PARENTHETICAL (even though it says it will). I wish it did. It works fine after CHARACTER NAME though. 2. MORE's and CONT'Ds in dialogue that crosses page breaks. 3. Bigger font zooming option on iPhone (that's what I assumed Draft Mode was for).
  2. Hi, thought I'd check in a year later on any Storyist for iPhone progress. Still think it would be awesome since I do a lot of writing in line.
  3. Is there going to be a Storyist 3 in the near future?
  4. Ah, Storyist 3? What's the ETA on that?
  5. I love using Storyist for iPad. In my opinion, it's the best one out there. It would be great to have an iphone version too, for those moments that are really on the go. I think writing on Storyist for iphone and ipad would be the dream. Is that a possibility?
  6. Thanks for such a fast response! I found a thread in this forum from last year which echoes the same problem, only they pretty much nailed it. Nesting folders, without the use of templates and work-arounds, would make a lot of us very happy (er)!
  7. I have to second this request. Is nesting folders (without creative work-arounds) on the horizon?
  8. Thanks! I guess I'm referring to the script itself. Right now there is a card attached/representing each scene. I'm wondering if there's a way to have a card represent a sequence of scenes, something like that. I watched the video on how to use the plot points, but those are separate and don't evolve with the screenplay like the cards do (unless you manually update the plot points every time you edit a scene.) I'm really enjoying this program as it is (especially with the iPad) and think it's amazing, but couldn't resist asking.
  9. I'm really enjoying this program as an alternative to Final Draft and wish I had found it sooner. But one thing I'd like to see is a way to organize the notecards into SEQUENCES - a collection of scenes. The Chase Sequence. The Bank Shoot-out sequence. The Death Star sequence. Etc. A lot of us think in sequences when plotting out our work, rather than every little INT. and EXT. Scene which can get overwhelming, especially if you were trying to plan something like the Mano a Mano sequence in Deathly Hallows...
  10. I would love to keep the tab key in the extended keyboard when in screenplay mode. I noticed it's in novel mode, and tab works with the wireless keyboard, but I would like to tab through the elements with the virtual keyboard. Oh, and PDF export! Other than that, I think this app is perfect. Thanks for such a well-thought out tool.
