    New iPad - re-installing Storyist

Thank you very much At the time I bought Storyist - I could not get it in South Africa - so I had to create another profile and use one of my friend's addresses etc in the USA. Fortunately I was a clever-boy and wrote down the details so I have downloaded it successfully now. Thank you once again.

    New iPad - re-installing Storyist

Ahh - Thank you very much. Darn - I remember I had a second ID - Is there a way to have Storyist transferred to my now current ID?
  3. Good day all, I have just sold my iPad3 and bought an iPad Air - NOW I am not sure if I made a mistake or not in terms of Storyist - as I had it all on the old iPad and everything was working fine. When I go onto the app store it wants me to pay again ... I have done a factory reset on the old one and it's gone. Can you please advise what I need to do please. Thanking you in advance.

    Lost Information

Ok great thanks. I would guess the reason for this mechanism is simple logic. To ensure one can go back in the case of errors. Is there a way to make the iPad sync into the main doc? Thanks.

    Lost Information

In checking out this thread - I had a similar "problem" I edited my story on the iPad and then sync'd to dropbox - the file never appeared - then I went back to the iPad and tapped on the latest file (which had now been named with the date on it.) OK So now I have several versions of my book ... What is actually the correct way to continue forward with Storyist? Must I rename the most recent file and work with it and then delete all the other files?

    Greetings !

Hello all, My name is Gary, I live in South Africa and am 18 (OK 57) but like all of us I'm young at heart. I have had a few novel's in my head/heart for many years but never thought I had the skill or patience to actually do something about it. A little while ago I had a discussion with a friend of mine and he encouraged me to hit the keyboard. A few thousand words into my novel and I started to realise that there must be a few tools available. After a little searching I came across Storyist ... on my iPad. THEN came problem number 2 - I had a windows based PC - I had to save up and get a MAC. WHICH - I'm glad to announce - arrived at my home a couple of days ago. oh boy - now to get my teeth into this program. I wish there was a quick - way of learning all the features of the program - but I'm sure I'll discover them as I go along. Well - I look forward to meeting a whole bunch of new friends .... Happy writing. G
