  1. Is there a way to change the icons that show up in the Project View? Having a variety of icons would help with visual searching... which is helpful when you have placed all of your work within one Storyist file.

  2. When I create a comment in text view it creates a blank "sticky note" in storyboard view. I can type notes in the blank sticky note and it will either transfer the new text to the text view comment while removing the previously typed comments or it will not show up in the text view comment leaving the previously typed comments in place.

  3. I have a similar issue where every couple of minutes the spinning beach ball comes up for maybe 10 seconds and then everything goes back to normal. I thought it was because my file is about 6mb, but I read above that one person's file is over 20mb. I've tried to reproduce it but I can find no consistently reproducible action that would cause this.

  4. I went over the directions of viewing the contents in trash, but when I click the "View button" in the toolbar I do not see a command for "Show Project Trash." I've clicked on several different places to see if a different cursor placement might cause the command to become visible. No success.

How can I view contents in the trash?

    Thanks,

    Jeremy

  5. Is there a way when you drag a story sheet into a section's storyboard view that a link could automatically be created on that story sheet (in a links box) that shows that the story sheet is linked to a section?

For instance, say I drag a setting sheet (beach 1) onto the storyboard view for sections 1, 7, 10, 13, etc. When I view "beach 1" in the "View as Text" mode I would see a link for each section. Something like this:

    Linked Sections:

    1. Section 1

    2. Section 7

    3. Section 10

    4. Section 13

    Thanks,

    Jeremy

  6. Just another thought on this topic, I could see the proposed "links inspector" being one of the inspector choices visible when working in the "View as Storyboard" view. This view has become very useful to me and I believe the "Links Inspector" would work best here.

  7. I see that I am unable to copy text files and story sheets from one Storyist file to another. If this is not something that will be added to Storyist soon, can we have a work around where I can export text files and story sheets from one Storyist file to another?

I can currently export in one of the other "export formats" and import into the second file, but I lose comments, section breaks, index cards, etc.

If I'm missing something please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Jeremy

  8. A highlighting function would be great, especially in the iOs version. Many times at work I get an idea and can pull out my iPhone and quickly jot a note on an index card, but sometimes it would be nice to be able to highlight a section of text as a marker for when I return to my desktop. The comments function is great, but just for the sake of quickly marking a section of text highlighting would be great. And, if I may be so bold to ask, highlighting with different colors. :)

  9. I've thought about Aeon, but in recent months, since I've been using the iOs version of Storyist so much, I'm thinking something inside of (first choice) Storyists or a (second choice) Mac/iOs app that works with Storyist would be the best. In the past few weeks I have really been getting a lot of use out of the Outline view. I was thinking it would be nice to have some customizable columns within the Outline view to allow the viewing of "Start Time" and "End Time" display fields. I think I could manage for awhile just using this function until a graphical timeline is developed.

I know we ask a lot, Steve. Thanks for being patient! :D

  10. When I link a scene or section sheet to a section by dragging it onto the storyboard view/ collage for that section it makes the index cards for the section and the index card for the scene/section sheet have the same text. I don't have a problem with this, but when the cards are saying the same thing, it just takes up storyboard/ collage real estate. Is there a way when this linking between the section and the scene/section sheet is made the duplicate card vanishes?

If this is already an option just disregard the request and point me to the directions.

    Jeremy
