Steve
Storyist for iPad 1.1 is available in the App Store. Version 1.1 is iOS 5 ready and adds: - Spell checking. - Word, page, line, and character counts. - Support for international keyboards. - RTF and FDX enhancements. Thanks everyone for the feedback and feature requests. More to come... -Steve
cliophoto
The word counts are perfect. Love the location. The ability to turn spellchecking off and on great idea. Phil

Dee
Hi Steve! Thanks for the update! Very good features. What's coming next? Do you still plan to do the keyboard extension? I am also very much hoping for the auto-filled index cards feature (a setting to allow the user to see the actual text of the section show in the cards). Any chance of this happening any time soon? TIA, Dee
Steve
Hi Dee, What's coming next? Do you still plan to do the keyboard extension? I do still plan to allow customization of the extended keyboard. The new split keyboard in iOS 5 adds a little complexity as you might imagine, but the feature is high on the list. For this release, there were actually a number of keyboard-related updates (iOS 5 support, international keyboard support), but they're largely invisible. I am also very much hoping for the auto-filled index cards feature (a setting to allow the user to see the actual text of the section show in the cards). Any chance of this happening any time soon? This is still on the list. The timing is the question. At some point (1.2 or 1.3), I'll need to require iOS 5 in order to add iCloud support, and the timing of the release will depend in part on the adoption of iOS 5. -Steve
Dee
Thanks, Steve! I am really looking forward to these additions! I hope you will make the extended keyboard user-definable. I am sure that's much more coding but this way you will please everybody! :-) Dee
