A couple of other apps I have incorporate this function, and I think if Storyist had that it'd be perfect for me. Using it now for nano, loving it. It sounds like you're asking for a view with * No headers and footers. * No toolbar. Currently, Pages does this for reading, but not for editing. Is this what you mean? BTW, you probably know this already, but you can hide the headers/footers from the tools menu. Not the toolbar though.
