marcellor Posted March 29, 2012 Report Share Posted March 29, 2012 Hi, I've been using the program for a year on my Macbook Pro. I have the autosave feature enabled and save every five minutes. In general, when the save occurs, it takes a good thirty to sixty seconds to save the document. Very slow. Also, at least three times a day during a five our writing session, the program hangs on the save and I lose a couple of minutes of work. Has anyone else seen this problem? Steve Posted March 29, 2012 Report Share Posted March 29, 2012 Hi Marcellor, There was a bug in a previous version where if you left a word count timer running and forgot to turn it off when you reached your goal, the project file would accumulate lots of timing data, which, after months of use, could slow down the saving considerably.
