Tonyl
I am trying storyist for the first time. Created a new project, imported a plain text file, then Made a couple of changes to the content text format spacing. I noticed the chapter heading format is set to 12 pt same as the body text. However when I export to epub and open on my iPad, the headings are in a huge font that takes up 2 lines. How to I change them to a smaller font, given that they are all 12 pt same as other text in the storyist document?
Steve
Hi Tonyl, Welcome to the forums! When you create an ePub of Kindle edition, Storyist supplies a style sheet that works across a wide range of devices. For headings, this style sheet specifies the device's default heading size. If you want something different (and are comfortable editing HTML and CSS), check out this post for more information. You'll want to edit the h1 style. -Steve
Tonyl
Hi Steve, it isn't a kindle thing, just the standard epub for iPad. Does that make a difference?
Steve
Hi Tonyl, Storyist creates a style sheet that specifies the device's default heading (h1) style. If you want something different, you'll want to edit the CSS in the ePub file as described here. -Steve
