hopeso Posted July 31, 2012 Report Share Posted July 31, 2012 I clicked on an "update Storyist" message and that was a mistake. I lost my stage play script and all the info on characters, settings, scenes, etc. I have an iMac, OS 10.6.8 (Leopard) and now realize the upgrade was for Mountain Lion. I will not be upgrading to Lion+ until my 3rd party software and printer driver are compatible with Lion+. I was able to find a copy of my script in another folder, but Is there anyway to recover the other items that have vanished? Thanks. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Steve Posted July 31, 2012 Report Share Posted July 31, 2012 Hi Hopeso, The software update mechanism doesn't affect your project files in any way. It just downloads the new version, and replaces the old version with the new version (moving the old version to the Trash). You can use the Search field in a Finder widow to locate your projects on your hard drive. To find all Storyist projects, enter ".story". By the way, the new version (2.4.1) isn't just for Mountain Lion. It supports OS X versions all the way back to Tiger. -Steve Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
