dennis7490
Hi, If i open a new SCREENPLAY file, "Script" & "manuscript" work fine. But in my own files they do not. They are not available, i.e. grayed out. Could this have something to do with importing? Thanks, Dennis
Steve
Hi Dennis, Are the Script and Manuscript toolbar icons greyed out? If so, you probably don't have a script or a manuscript in your project yet. You'd see this when you create a project from the Blank template. -Steve
dennis7490
Okay, i just imported 5 pagages from FINAL DRAFT 8 into the script section. Still in gray. I have 25 pages of a novel where it's fine. but this is the third time I've imported script pages and it doesn't "light" those two boxes. It recognizes the 4 scenes of INT. EXT. etc. thanks, Dennis
Steve
Hi Dennis, Are you talking about the Script and Manuscript buttons in the toolbar? If not, can you post a screenshot? -Steve
dennis7490
I think it's the toolbar. On top where the icons say: PROJECT PRINT SCRIPT (GRAYED OUT) MANUSCRIPT (GRAYED OUT) I don't know how to post a screenshot. if you tell me I'll try to do it. Steve
Hi Dennis, I don't know how to post a screenshot. if you tell me I'll try to do it. OK, one thing to check: do you have a manuscript or script in the trash? If so, empty the trash using the Project > Empty Project Trash command. To post a screenshot: Capture the screenshot using a tool like the free Skitch. Save the screenshot to your hard drive. When replying here in the forums, click the "More Reply Options" button. Click the Choose File button and find your screenshot. Click the Attach This File button. -Steve
dennis7490
Emptying trash worked! Now, how do I shrink the TRASH window back to normal? thanks, Dennis

dennis7490
Steve, It works with everything except one file, a small file that was created from a BLANK template and has two "notes" under DEVELOPMENT. Why they are "notes" I have no idea. but they are. Thanks, Dennis
