richardstephens
Hi. I am new to Storyist and find it really useful for blocking out my stories for scripts. Much better than Final Draft. However, on my computer the text is so small by default that I practically have to use a magnifying glass to see the text I write. I have tried selecting it and going to Format>font and choosing a new size but to no avail. I have also tried Preferences but there is nothing there to control the size of the font. I have also tried cmd+. Nothing. I have attached a screenshot but am not sure you can appreciate how really small it is on my screen. Is it possible to do what I want to do? Thanks for any help before I go blind.
Steve
Hi richardstephens, Welcome to the forums! You can set the default fonts used for index cards as follows: 1) Open the Preferences window and select the Appearance pane. 2) Add a new theme by clicking the Add (+) button in the left column. 3) Select the Fonts tab. 4) Set the fonts for the index card heading and summary to the desired values. -Steve
richardstephens
Hi Steve Thanks very much for the speedy reply. Who knew? Couldn't find this "fix" anywhere in the help file. Very simple but not obvious. Thanks again. Richard
