Accessory keyboard when in split keyboard mode

Feature request:

 

When you split the keyboard in two, or 'undock' it from the bottom of the screen (in portrait or in landscape mode), the extra row on the extended keyboard disappears.I always split the keyboard when typing as my hands are not large enough to type comfortably otherwise. The accessory keyboard is very helpful (particularly the cursor keys) and it's a great shame to loose this functionality.

 

I contacted Storyist support by email, as I initially thought this was a bug. Apparently this is not the case, and I was advised to create a thread here as a feature request. Let me just say I am very impressed so far with Storyist's customer support — I received two prompt, professional replies.
