hwl
Hallo, I bought storyist a few days ago and I loved it, it was the software I was looking for, but I deleted storyist today. It is very important for my way of writing to "play" with the index cards: delete them, add a card and move them arround. I do not want to add these changes to my allready written text. My question is, how do I unlink cards and text? If this unlinking is possible, I will install storyist at once. Thanks for any answer! HWL (Sorry for my "german english")
marguerite
Hi, HWL: Storyist for Mac (that is, the desktop version) does let you keep index cards separate from the text. In Storyist for iPad, the cards are linked to the text sections. You can achieve the same result by using sheets (plot points, say), but on the iPad, as distinct from the Mac, you can't display those sheets as index cards. Another user already requested that functionality under Feature Requests. You could also set up a separate manuscript within your iPad project where you display only the index cards and move/edit/delete there. hwl
Hi, Marguerite, Thanks for your answer. Sorry, did not find the functionality under Feature Requests. I will install storyist once more and try to set up a separate manuscript as you suggested. Best, HWL
