Phil1861 Posted March 27, 2013 Report Share Posted March 27, 2013 This is for iPad version 1.3 I recently had a manuscript become corrupted so that the manuscript portion of my .story project will no longer open. I hadn't set up Drop Box at the point that it happened, so I did not have a copy to fall back on. I installed on my iMac the 2.4.2 version of Storyist and after opening the sync'd file from Drop Box (the corrupted one that the iPad will not open) it came down but as an XML file, so I can see my notes and my section cards but the content shows as XML code along with my text. At the moment I have two different versions of the project, one that was synchronized again from Drop Box and the original one. The original still won't open but the one that I opened in the iMac Storyist opens on my iPad in XML as well. So something was corrupted in the file that the iMac version was able to overcome but I'd like to know if I can convert what can be opened back to a regular document or find out what is broken in the other version.
