orrenm Posted October 14, 2013 Report Share Posted October 14, 2013 A Storyist file is not a .doc file. A .story file is it's own "package" of files, one of which is your manuscript, but which may also include .jpgs and other image files, and so on. So you can't simply rename it and open it in Microsoft Word. If you want to export your manuscript so you can print it from Word on your PC, open the .story file in Storyist, and then choose File > Export and in the pull down menu at the bottom of the dialog you'll have a lot of different text file options—you can choose .doc or .docx and export one or more items from your .storyist. Then just take the exported .doc files over to your PC and you're good to go. Orren Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
