LittleHouse75
Hello, The fountain markup spec (http://fountain.io/syntax) allows dialogue to be "forced" by using two spaces on the preceding line. For example: MARK Does anyone have any suggestions? <--- two spaces Perhaps I should rephrase my question. The second line should be dialogue, but Storyist for iOS interprets the second line ("Perhaps...") as action. Other programs (such as Marked 2 for Mac) also have the same parsing error, so I'm wondering the interpretation error is part of the open source tools the fountain team has made available. Any else have thoughts? (Or maybe I'm the only person who uses spaced out dialogue in fountain...) Also, I know an updated fountain 1.1 spec is on its way... Thanks, -Tim
Steve
Hi Tim, Storyist does use Nima's open source Fountain parser. I'll report the bug. -Steve
