Import from Celtx

Hello,

 

I just want to say, I really love this app and think it is the clearest screenwriting app for the iPad and I hope it receives an update soon.

 

I do have one question which I cannot find an answer to. Is there a way to import scripts from Celtx (in text format or any other).

 

The other day I had to bring up an old script I wrote three years ago in Celtx. I wanted to make one minor change. I tried to import the txt file and the formatting was off (wrong font, everything indented to the right).

 

Is there anyway around this?

Hi Reddkryten,

 

Storyist doesn't import Celtx projects directly. However, if Celtx can export Final Draft or Fountain files, Storyist can import them into a project.

Thank you so much for your reply. Just checking, I thought the txt files from Celtx were already in the fountain format?

 

Either way, it's not difficult to resave them, just wanted to check.
