Does anyone have an real script examples of character development points. How many does a character generally have in a film? marguerite Posted February 8, 2015 Report Share Posted February 8, 2015 Hi, Stuart, I'm a novelist, not a screenwriter, so I can't say how many development points a character typically has in a film. I also tend to use the points sparingly, during planning (which I then toss to the winds, being a seat-of-the-pants writer by heart). But I've attached a screen shot of the character sheet for the hero of the novel I published last year, which combines custom fields, character development points, and notes—as well as a collage with multiple images.
