Using your IPOD for notes

Many of you, I am sure, own an IPOD... and if you have explored the damn thing you have noticed you can actually import notes to it.

I did that before flying, since it is far easier to take out my hand held than the macbook.

I used voodoopad, since it is nicely linked and easier to navigate. I also had to enable the IPOD as a disk, which is easier said than done.

Once that was done, I had access to my notes for a short story, and though the font was small, like eight point, yeah that small, it was readable and I had my notes with me. Moreover, I could listen to my podcasts at the same time. This is actually quite nice, and when flying it is actually pretty convenient.

Once my notes for the novel are finally put together, I will probably do that and use the handheld... or plain out writing by hand, and transcribing later to the macbook (and editing)... I am not sure how exactly I will do this yet

Oh and darn, I almost forgot, you can import TXT or RTF i believe, to the IPOD
