Editing character name auto-fill?

Recommended Posts

I've searched all over and haven't found the answer to this. Is there a way to edit the list of names that appears when typing a character's name in a screenplay? There is one that doesn't appear anywhere in my document, and I can't figure out how to get rid of it.

Hi EeJ,

Welcome to the forums.

You can edit the completions list in Storyist for Mac as follows:

  1. Navigate to the script and open the File Info inspector. (View > Inspector > File Info).
  2. Click the "Edit Completions" button.
  3. Select Characters from the popup in the window that appears.
  4. Add or delete values as desired.
