Storyist Website...

:P

I think with the introduction of 2.0.1, the website might need a tad bit of updates...? (although it might not be in my place to say)...

Just a screenshot of thoughts...

complaints_s.png

And then for the reviews and testimonials, have 3 inspirational ones, and a link to a complete list or something.

I just think the front page should be:

----Browser URL/Toolbar----

Logo Download It!

MenuLink to forums somewhere on front page?

This is Storyist

It is awesome. Look at it's features.

Try It - Buy It

What People are Raving About it

----Status Bar----

But yeah... That's just me.

Just some thoughts, feel free to ignore them. Please don't hate me.

So how was your day?

Seconded!!! The whole margin/white space thing is bugging my OCD :P Testimonials could be great too. I'm not a fan of the corner ribbon idea, but the making the download (with the note that it's a free trial) a bit more noticeable would be great.

Keep it coming, cause Steve doesn't have enough to do ya know... what with 2.0 out now he's got all sorts of free time! :P

I agree with needing a more visible download link...

Seconded.

...but what's wrong with stylistic white space?

"Stylistic" is a matter of personal taste. I guess the question is, how does Steve feel about it? Maybe he loves those white spaces.

nothing is wrong with it, but what's right with it?

I just think that the uneven margins are odd. :P

It's to give you a spot to punch holes.

IF

Maybe some hole punched images then...? And some pizzaz to that side? :P

White space is good. Don't make me get graphic designer on you.

Agreed! Seconded! Take that, consumers of pretty white space! :P

Glad you told 'em, Calli. I just contributed all my overmuffins to the 6,000 posts celebration and have none left for hurling.

If it weren't for white space you'd have a hard time telling one word from another. :P

And speaking of words: "pizzazz" is spelled with four (count 'em 4) zees, at least according to its coiner, Diana Vreeland, of Harper's Bazaar.

Fashion Forward,

-Thoth.

BTW: M, did you noticed that you are about to close in on the coveted 1,000 post mark?

Well, I'd be all for white space if it was even on both sides/the page was centered in it *twitch twitch*

In other news.. congrats M! Only 8 more posts till you get your first [invisible] triangle pip! :P

Voting for even & centered white space

Actually, this is one of the things I've been working on this week. I'll post a link to the redesign in the beta area soonly.

In the beta area? So us non-beta-er's won't get to see it "soonly."
