Option-drag a gripper to resize the window

If you hold down the option key while dragging either a "gripper" or a split view bar, you will resize the entire window instead of just the split view.

 

For example:

1. Hold down the option key.
   
2. Click and drag the gripper (i.e. the two vertical gray lines) in the footer of the Project pane.
   
3. Notice that the window changes size.
   
4. Release the option key.
   
5. Continue dragging the gripper.
   
6. Notice that the dividing line between the Project pane and the Document view moves but the window remains the same size.

Now I can see those long element names without resizing my window every time. Thanks.

But just how new is this? I remember playing with...oh, never mind.
