Maybe you'll find this useful, I do. I know you're supposed to develop the outline, first, but I can't. I write first. The generated outline and cards for the draft are useless. But if I (1) have a # separator after every chapter title, (2) have Show Body Text turned on in the Preferences, and (2) Select All from within a body text word, Cut, Paste -- guess what? Very nicely filled in outline and cards titled with the first line of each section,
