Sancho Verde
Hi, such a simple question, where is the email command button, (which by the way I have already used) located at in Storyist for iPad? Please help to avoid meltdown. Thanks, Knowthecrow
marguerite
Go to the top level where all your projects are listed, tap Edit in the top right, tap the file you want to e-mail, then tap Export in the top left and choose e-mail this file. Choose a format to e-mail and Storyist will connect you to Mail. You can also e-mail the manuscript by itself (as an RTF document) by doing the same thing inside the Manuscript folder of a Storyist file. johnboy
So...I have an iPad 1 and the latest version of Storyist for iPad, but have no such export to email option. :-( Any suggestions as to why that is?
marguerite
You must have it, johnboy. I have an iPad 1, too. Make sure you are at the top level, where one button says New Project, rather than inside an existing project. Then use the instructions above. johnboy
OK...following the instructions exactly, Edit/Select Document/Export, I have the options: Copy to Dropbox, Copy to iTunes and Open In... That's it...there is no export email option...Version 1.1.1 Strange. I think I'll submit this to Support. jb
johnboy
Steve had the answer...before you can see the email option, email must have been configured on the device...it wasn't on mine...duh!
