New iPad - re-installing Storyist

Good day all,

I have just sold my iPad3 and bought an iPad Air - NOW I am not sure if I made a mistake or not in terms of Storyist - as I had it all on the old iPad and everything was working fine.

When I go onto the app store it wants me to pay again ... I have done a factory reset on the old one and it's gone.

Can you please advise what I need to do please.

The App Store will always allow you to download an app you have paid for again as long as you are using the same iTunes Apple ID you purchased the app with the first time.

This is not a Storyist issue if you are having problems.

 

Go into "Purchased" apps on your iPad in the App Store and make sure Storyist is listed there.... It should be shown with a small iCloud image and download arrow if you purchased it with the Apple ID you are logged into the iTunes store with.

Is there a way to have Storyist transferred to my now current ID?

There is no way that I know of to transfer apps from one Apple ID to another. This is a limitation of the App Store design I'm afraid.

At the time I bought Storyist - I could not get it in South Africa - so I had to create another profile and use one of my friend's addresses etc in the USA.

Fortunately I was a clever-boy and wrote down the details so I have downloaded it successfully now.
