kortuem 0
I would like to manually insert tabs into the text but Storyist won't react to pressing the tab character. How do manually insert tabs?
Steve 0
Hi kortuem, By default, Storyist is set up to use the tab key for style and snipped shortcuts. You can disable this in two ways: To change the setting for all files, open the Preferences window, select the text editing pane, and uncheck the "Enable Tab key shortcuts" checkbox. To change the setting for just the file you're working on, open the file inspector (View > Inspector > File Info), select the "Use the following values" checkbox, and make sure the "Enable tab key shortcuts" checkbox is unchecked. You can edit the tab stops (if desired) by Turning on the ruler (View > Layout > Show Rulers), clicking and dragging. Opening the format inspector (View > Inspector > Format) and entering the values in the Tabs pane. -Steve
