  1. No, that is an option indeed. I was simply treating them as chapters anyway - but wasn’t sure where they would sit. Not a big issue in the giant shceme of things. It can be resolved.
  2. Thank you so much for your help, Miss M. Very much appreciated. I used the index cards to organise three intertwining stories, but have it all under a chapter card - which I can’t delete because it will delete all the underlying index cards. May need to do some judicious copying down the track... Thanks again.
  3. Thanks, Marguerite, My use of the term “section cards” in place of “index cards” didn’t exactly help my case. Apologies. There is no text in the manuscript just yet, just text on index cards. I know I can insert new chapter cards before an index card, but I was wondering whether I could convert an index card into a chapter card. Is that any clearer? Many thanks. Russell
  4. Greetings, and thank you for the great product. I am plotting my second book and have done the hard yards. However, is there a way to change a section card (and its text) into a chapter card? The alternative is to recreate everything... Not ideal. (It’s also all under one chapter, which I can’t delete as it deletes all subject cards under it.) Many thanks.
  5. Greetings, Starting to work on a second draft - the gift that keeps giving. Does the iOS version of Storyist allow a word count for chapters? I am currently pasting into Google Docs for a word count but am hoping there may be something native. Fingers crossed - and love the program, and am hoping it remains a live option. Thanks.
  6. Damn. Not even as rich text as part of the whole document that can somehow be segmented as a CSV or some such? (Yes, hope springs eternal.) Thanks for the response, Steve.
  7. Hi Steve, I note you commented earlier about this. Is this still a live possibility per your earlier post?
  8. Check under settings or preferences: there is a toggle to determine whether to show or hide comments. (Fingers crossed!)
  9. Hi all, I'm trying to FREE MY CARDS! Well, trying to print them out so I can review on paper and then play with them a bit. Is anyone aware of a way to do this? Any help would be appreciated. I really want to see the iPad forum more active. Many thanks.
  10. Greetings, I note that the Mac version allows printing of index cards and comments. Is this feature likely to make it for the iOS version? I take it no from earlier comments, but that was from 2014, so may as well check. Alternatively - can they be exported into RTF or other formats? Apologies if I've overlooked earlier posts. First time poster trying to prepare for the first edit. Thanks.
