erose68
I've been writing a novel in Scrivener and am interested in moving to Storyist so that I can work my iPad, but I'm having doubts that I can even move it to Storyist because the structure doesn't fit the: "chapter : section" structure that Storyist seems to rigidly force me to adopt. The novel I'm working is is split into books, each of which supports multiple chapters which support multiple scenes which can support multiple points of view. NOVEL BOOK 1 CHAPTER 1 SCENE 1 POV1 POV2 SCENE 2 POV1 ... CHAPTER 2 .... BOOK 2 ... and so on and so forth I've seen references to a template that allows a manuscript to be broken up into days and then into chapters and scenes, but even in that template I can't get the "New" menu to give me access to anything but "new Chapter" and "new Scene" Is there any way to do what I'm trying to do in Storyist? marguerite
Since there are additional layers of outlining, I assume so. But since the distinction between scene X and scene X+1 is often a change in POV, I do find myself wondering why not just call them scenes 1, 2, 3, and 4. Maybe I'm missing something? Best, and welcome to the forums, Marguerite
