  1. Thanks, I finally decided to just go. I've been writing and re-writing for a long time. I plan on taking no more than a year to publish the sequel. As far as your experience, what is the best way to get beyond the circle of people you know? Jeremy
  2. Hello, I'm happy to announce my first book in The Messenger Series, "The Messenger: Origins" is now on Amazon. I hope my next book, "The Messenger: Horizons" doesn't take as long to publish:-) Jeremy https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XFM9TCM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1488824524&sr=8-1&keywords=the+messenger+origins
  3. I liked it. The integrated timeline was a great feature, but it hasn't been updated in a long time. According to the Mac App Store, as of 12/20/16, it hasn't been updated since 2011.
  4. I have mentioned this before, but it was quite awhile ago. The Storymill app had a good idea with the integrated timeline. Maybe something like that could be built for Storyist.

Steve, Is the timeline in the works?

Is there a way to change the icons that show up in the Project View? Having a variety of icons would help with visual searching... which is helpful when you have placed all of your work within one Storyist file.
  7. That seems to have resolved the problem. Thanks, Rusty.
  8. I'll give that a try and see if it resolves the issue
  9. When I create a comment in text view it creates a blank "sticky note" in storyboard view. I can type notes in the blank sticky note and it will either transfer the new text to the text view comment while removing the previously typed comments or it will not show up in the text view comment leaving the previously typed comments in place.
  10. I have a similar issue where every couple of minutes the spinning beach ball comes up for maybe 10 seconds and then everything goes back to normal. I thought it was because my file is about 6mb, but I read above that one person's file is over 20mb. I've tried to reproduce it but I can find no consistently reproducible action that would cause this.
  11. That worked. I was looking in the wrong place. Thanks!
  12. I went over the directions of viewing the contents in trash, but when I click the "View button" in the toolbar I do not see a command for "Show Project Trash." I've clicked on several different places to see if a different cursor placement might cause the command to become visible. No success. How can I view contents in the trash? Thanks, Jeremy
  13. Is there a way when you drag a story sheet into a section's storyboard view that a link could automatically be created on that story sheet (in a links box) that shows that the story sheet is linked to a section? For instance, say I drag a setting sheet (beach 1) onto the storyboard view for sections 1, 7, 10, 13, etc. When I view "beach 1" in the "View as Text" mode I would see a link for each section. Something like this: Linked Sections: 1. Section 1 2. Section 7 3. Section 10 4. Section 13 Thanks, Jeremy
  14. It would be nice if we could add columns to the outline view, such as start date/time, end date/time, setting, etc, and/or custom columns that the writer might find useful.
  15. Just another thought on this topic, I could see the proposed "links inspector" being one of the inspector choices visible when working in the "View as Storyboard" view. This view has become very useful to me and I believe the "Links Inspector" would work best here.
