marguerite
That should not happen. When I export to ePub, I get an ePub file. When I export to MOBI, I get a .mobi file. Do you, perhaps, have a preset that is set to .mobi that you are inadvertently activating? Best, Marguerite
Steve
Hi Snackbarfilms, Welcome to the forums. When I export to ePub format, I still get a .mobi file. Is this correct? Or should it actually be an .epub document. I'm assuming that the file generated is actually a .mobi file (which you can open with the Kindle Previewer), not an .epub file, so in addition to Marguerite's suggestion, you might double check that the format is set to "ePub Document (.epub)" and not "Kindle Document (.mobi)." With all the eStuff, it is easy enough to scan the Export setting of "eBook" and think "ePub". And if that isn't it, let me know and we'll investigate. -Steve
