Jim
I am new to Storyist and wondered if anyone else out there has developed scripts based on Blake Snyders methods. If so, any recommendations in setting up a template in Storyist to do this or how to begin. Any recommendations?
Steve
Hi Jim, Welcome to the forums. I am new to Storyist and wondered if anyone else out there has developed scripts based on Blake Snyders methods. If so, any recommendations in setting up a template in Storyist to do this or how to begin. Any recommendations? One way to do it would be: 1) Create a new Storyist project from the Screenplay template. 2) Add a plot point (sheet) for each of the beats in the Save the Cat beat sheet. 3) Save the project as a template (File > Save as Template). This new template will now appear in the template chooser. Use it to start a new project, and develop the outline/synopsis. When you know in which scene the beat occurs, drag the plot sheet to the collage for the scene. -Steve
