Maury
Hi, for one reason or another I can't have my index cards appearing next to the text of the novel, just like it shows in the main page of Storyist.com how can i do that? Cheers!
marguerite
On the Mac, go to the View menu, choose Split, then Split the Active Window Vertically. You get two copies of whatever was in the main window. Click on the window where you want to see the cards. Choose View again, then Storyboard. Assuming you are displaying a manuscript or plot points (not settings or characters with photos attached) you immediately see index cards. If the cards are blue, double-click one to get a set of white lined cards, one for each section/scene. If you are displaying characters or settings, the Storyboard shows you their photos, like a set of Polaroids. You can go to the View menu again and Hide the Project View, if you like, but it is useful for navigation. On the iPad, tap on the outline and pin it, then tap on the cards option in the bottom right corner. Best, Marguerite
