SpringfieldMH
I may well be in the minority, but I prefer working in portrait mode. Please consider implementing pinned mode for portrait, even if doesn't seem ideal (tiny/squinty text in order to get full width view of text in right window). I can see that was more difficult on original iPad... but with Retina resolution is definitely doable even if not ideal. For a working example, see OmniOutliner 2 for iPad... works (viable two column mode) even on iPad 2 at the 2's lower resolution. I may have missed it, but would like to be able to go another level or two deeper in the outline hierarchy. Might require multiline word wrap for outline text or horizontally scrollable outline window or being able to reduce the visible indentation of outline items so as to maximize readability. Thanks.
