Help! - project won't load

Hi all,

 

I am in desperate need of some help. I have been working on a project for weeks and have done quite a bit. I was working on it tonight when things starting going strange. I couldn't look at some of my items in text mode and a few things were acting strangely. I closed down storyist and when I tried to open it, it wouldn't open. See attached screen shot.

 

My other project is opening fine, so I don't think it is a problem with the program itself.

 

Any ideas? I would hate to think that all the work I've done has been lost.

Hi Stuart,

 

You may be able to view the previous versions of your project by opening the project and choosing File > Revert To > Browse All Versions.

 

If that doesn't work, send a quick email to the support address. I'd be happy to look at the file for you.

That's seemed to have done the trick.

 

A little bit of info lost, but could have been a lot worse.

OK. By the way, what versions of OS X and Storyist are you running?

I'm using OS X 10.9.2 (mavericks) and Storyist 3.

Thanks for the info.

 

When you have the opportunity, I'd suggest updating to OS X 10.9.5, which is the most recent version of Mavericks.

 

Also, make sure you're running Storyist 3.0.4.
