Importing StoryMill

Tired of StoryMill corrupting files, deleting chapters...want to import my StoryMill data into Storyist and wondered if I need to copy or paste or is there a faster way to do it? Appreciate any feedback.

Can you save from StoryMill to RTF? That's the quickest way to get files into Storyist, and the most likely to retain important information.

 

If you can also start each chapter name with the word Chapter and use # to separate sections, that will simplify splitting your chapters and sections in Storyist after you import the file.

 

For sheets, Storyist imports the information from the RTF but doesn't assign it to fields. But cutting and pasting within a single document is still easier than retyping or going between programs.
