copying styles between text files

I'm using Storyist 3.04 and a pretty new user. I have multiple text files I'm working with in my project. I have created styles in one text file and want to apply those styles to other text files. I tried Save as Template, saved a new Template and selected another text file. I then choose Format...Style...Change Stylesheet to select the new Template. However, my styles in the Template I originally choose did not copy over.

 

BTW, if I create a new text file from the Template, the styles do copy over. I simply want to copy styles from one text file to another.
