fanobennemsi
This defect/bug plagues me a lot: 1. Open your novel in storyist 2. Search for something that occurs a few time in your document 3. Click the next ( '>') button after each found match till there is no match anymore -> the application crashes
Steve
Hi fanobennemsi, Are you on Yosemite and running a version of Storyist prior to the current one (3.0.4)? If so, you're probably running in to a Yosemite bug (rdar://18952313) that causes an app to crash when OS X tries to present the find wrap overlay. Storyist 3.0.4 works around the bug by intercepting find wrap overlay request, so it won't crash on you. If you're interested, you can reproduce the bug for yourself using TextEdit as follows: Open the attached file named "FindWrapCrashTest.rtf" in TextEdit. Choose Format > Wrap to Page if you're not already in page mode. Choose Edit > Find > Find. Enter "far, far" in the find bar. Click the "find next" segmented control button 4 times to get to the end of the document. Click the "find next" button one more time to cause the find to wrap. Notice the crash. -Steve FindWrapCrashTest.rtf
