sarabethAnderson
A project that I have been working on in Storyist for several years is now either empty or cannot be opened. Regretfully my last backup is from June of last year. A strange thing I notice too is that the file size of the project now is 576 kb (mind you the manuscript is 150+ pages, plus another 50-100 pages of notes, character sketches, plot points, etc.). The file from June of last year (the most recent backup) is 572 kb. So maybe the project is NOT empty, but I cannot open it for some reason? Another Storyist project opens just fine. What literally happens is that attempting to open this project shows Storyist wth a black screen (see attached screenshot). If I use the white handles that appear on the black rectangle, the view becomes a blank white project and all the options like "manuscript" at the top cannot be clicked. I am also unable to update Storyist -- I just get an error that "an error occurred" when trying to download the file. Steve
Hi Sarabath, The data is still there. There is a bug in El Capitan that prevents some story sheets from opening. You'll want to use Storyist 3.2 or later on El Capitan. You can download that here: Storyist.dmg -Steve
