Steve Posted November 4, 2021 Report Share Posted November 4, 2021 Hi Carolyn, If you change the language in the Spelling and Grammar dialog in the app, your choice only lasts until you quit the app. The default spelling language setting is controlled by your Mac. To make British English the default: Open the Keyboard pane in the System Preferences window and click the Text tab.
