Thanks. Paul "Smart Links" is a setting on Snow Leopard (in the Edit > Substitutions) menu that causes Storyist to automatically add links to URLs it finds in the text. The setting is conceptually similar to "Smart Quotes" and "Smart Dashes". When I first buy a program I like to exercise the heck out of it looking for bugs. I really put the screws to it. In order to do that though I need to know how it works first. So far so good.
