Smart Links

Can anyone tell me what a "Smart Link" is? It is not located in the help file. It shows regular links but not smart links.

Thanks.

Paul

"Smart Links" is a setting on Snow Leopard (in the Edit > Substitutions) menu that causes Storyist to automatically add links to URLs it finds in the text. The setting is conceptually similar to "Smart Quotes" and "Smart Dashes".

This is a system-wide feature, and you'll find other apps (e.g. Text Edit) have similarly named menu items.

Thanks Steve.

I am sure more questions to come.

When I first buy a program I like to exercise the heck out of it looking for bugs. I really put the screws to it. In order to do that though I need to know how it works first.

So far so good.

More later.

P.
