The Manuscript Button

Allows to "View the first manuscript or script in the project". Since one can easily just click on the first manuscript in Project View, I too am wondering why this deserves a button at all in the toolbar.

Some people don't display the Project View all the time. The whole screen is customizable, including showing/hiding the toolbar, project view, etc. That's why Storyist originally had no full screen mode, because you could get the equivalent of full screen mode by pressing a couple of keys.

If you're working on a laptop, Project View can consume a sizable chunk of the screen. Under those circumstances, one option is to hide the Project View and use the toolbar buttons to move among your characters, plot, settings, and manuscript.

Best,

Marguerite

I didn't know that. Makes sense now.
