skittlebox
I no longer have a mac and most of my writing was done on Storyist. Is there anyway to get the text from the .story files so that I can use my work in word?

If you can get to a school or library with a Mac, you can use the File > Export command to export all of your text files as .txt, .doc, or .rtf files which will open without issue in Word. Hope that helps, Orren
Steve
Hi Skittlebox, I no longer have a mac and most of my writing was done on Storyist. Is there anyway to get the text from the .story files so that I can use my work in word? Orren's solution is probably the easiest. You can also unzip the Storyist file and extract the text from the ODF and RDF files. You'll find more information about the file format in the developer section of the website. -Steve
