When i tab across the curser stops slightly to the right of center and then if i hit tab again it goes to the next line. it does not want to go to the upper right corner to insert the page number. Steve Posted March 16, 2012 Report Share Posted March 16, 2012 Hi Dennis, Your tabs stops probably stop just to the right of center. To check, you can display the rules (View > Show Rulers) and add stops if necessary. However, there is an even easier way: right align the header. To do this: Place the cursor in the header and choose Edit > Insert > Page Number. Choose Format > Text > Align Right. -Steve Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Dan Waltz Posted April 15, 2012 Report Share Posted April 15, 2012 I have an existing header (centered) with my name on the right side and the title of the book on the left. It lets me insert a page number on the right and it counts properly every other page, but for some reason the left page page numbers only repeat the same number over and over.
