orrenm
This post has really nothing to do with Storyist. But a number of us are musicians, and an even larger number of us like music. Some of us even listen to music when writing, using Storyist. So I guess there is our tenuous connection. A great name in the world of modern music, Jim Marshall, inventor of the Marshall amplifier, died at 88. If you've listened to popular music performed or recorded in the last 50 years, then it's safe to say that you've heard the sound of a Marshall amplifier. He had a huge impact on how music sounds, and he will be missed. My personal reflection on him is here: http://www.orrenmerton.com/site/2012/04/05/oh-marshall-my-marshall/ Orren
whirlybird
Thanks for the info, Orren. I'm embarrassed to say that I've never heard of either Marshall. It's sad when a person dies, especially when he/she has added so much to each of our lives. W
