TheDoctor
I'm using Storyist for iPad but I'm trying to create a template on the desktop version to send over. Is there a way to copy the actual template from Final Draft. I'm looking for a comic book and tv show one and I would love to use the one from final draft itself. Thank you. Steve
Hi Doctor, You could import the Final Draft file into a blank Storyist project and then save the Storyist project as a template. -Steve
TheDoctor
I just tried that and the template works great on the desktop version but when I try to use it on the iPad version it just acts like a normal screenplay.
Steve
Hi Doctor, There isn't a mechanism to get the template into the Storyist for iPad's templates list, so just save a copy somewhere and when you want to create a new file from this "template" just copy it to your My Projects screen. One way to do this would be to use the Copy to iTunes command to move it to the special folder that iTunes uses and then use the "Copy from iTunes" command when you want to create a new project from the template. -Steve
